In 1991, I founded the Quincy Helping Hand program to help defray the rising cost of durable medical equipment for our seniors, veterans, and disabled residents. This in-kind loan program provides free donations of equipment, such as walkers, wheelchairs, crutches, canes, commodes, tub benches, and others. Over the last 3 decades, Helping Hand has assisted thousands of residents across Quincy and the South Shore.
